High Protein Foods
High protein foods include meats, fish, nuts, and legumes which should be eaten daily to guarantee that protein needs are met.

Some high protein foods are also high in saturated fat, making them less healthful than alternative protein sources.
Protein levels in the body are increased by eating high protein foods or by taking protein supplements.
Vegetarians must find alternative sources for protein that do not include traditional high protein foods, such as meat.
